Okmalumkoolkat – Boet Partytime Ft Dusse Wavy

OKMALUMKOOLKAT’s collaborative nature is still very much on evident on the 2026 album “iTheku eThekwini”, which features 11 tracks that touch on a variety of sounds and voices. Boet Partytime is the third track and a one-of-a-kind collaboration with Dusse Wavy.

The two artists’ synergy is proof of a conscious composition method that favors collaboration, seamlessly merging their approaches into an organic dialog over the song. It’s this collaboration that gives the album its nuance, drawing on the rich cultural landscape of its South African roots.

The track is an important aspect of the wider narrative provided throughout the project as an integral part of a unified compilation. This nine-track album, “iTheku eThekwini” is a joyous collection of sounds that is both traditional and new, propelled by the musical forces of Okmalumkoolkat and his guest artists.
