Jemax Reveals Shocking News About Boomplay!!

Celebrated Rapper – Jemax reveals shocking news about one of Zambia’s most recommended streaming platform – Boomplay. First introduced in Zambia in 2019, Boomplay has been the most used streaming platform for both upraising and established artists.

However, Jemax a well established rapper in Zambia has revealed that he hasn’t received any payments from Boomplay despite his album titled “BoogeyMan“ hitting over 50Million streams on the platform. Jemax is one of the many artists that have come out open to reveal their disappointment with Boomplay.

Am disappointed with Boomplay. After getting over 50Million streams on the platform for my BOOGEYMAN ALBUM, I have never gotten any payment. We have tried a countless number of times with my team to contact their support portal via emails and much more yet nothing fruitful has ever come out. I demand for ANSWERS and am calling upon relevant bodies such as ZAM, NAC and Ministry of ARTS to intervene. Its sad to learn that actually most artists are being owed hefty amounts of moneys by Boomplay yet no one has been given a valid excuse. 

Sources reveal that artists can expect to earn roughly between $800 and $1,400 per 1Million streams on Boomplay, at this point with over 50 Million streams on his album, Jemax is obviously owed roughly between $4000 and $70,000 by the streaming platform.
