Alikiba – Natubu

Tanzanian Bongo Flava kingpin and leader of Kings Music, Alikiba, steps up with a deeply reflective, soul-stirring single, titled “Natubu.”

This real East African release arrives at a time when music purists are looking for ballads rich in melody and grounded in vulnerability and remorse. Alikiba uses this moment to open up his heart and asks for forgiveness while looking back at life’s bumpy ride.

The producer builds a warm, mid-tempo bongo flava soundscape behind the boards powered by delicate acoustic guitar plucks, mellow keyboard chords, and crisp percussive shakers. A gentle drum kick rolls gently over a flowing bassline, keeping a steady beat without crowding the close arrangement.

Alikiba guides the microphone in his trademark velvety register, seasoned vocal poise, and easy Swahili phrasing. This way, his heartfelt delivery brings the listener to a very personal place from the first drop.
