He has won over 10 major music awards. In 2023, the singer won 5 awards in one night at the Kwacha Music Awards, a record that has gone down in the history books of the Zambian Music Industry. His Life and Career
Yo Maps was born on November 29, 1994, in Kasama, Zambia. He is a singer and songwriter. He worked very hard at the start of his music career. In one of his songs, “Kondwa“, he talks about his struggles and dreams for a better life.
He became very popular in 2018 with a song titled “Finally”, a smash hit that featured music pioneer – Macky 2, who played a huge role in Yo Maps’ career. Since the release of that song, Yo Maps become a household name, getting booked for music shows and live performances.

In 2024 during the Stanbic Music Festival, Yo Maps alongside American singer – Omarion headlined the event which is considered to be the biggest music festival. Prior to that event, Yo Maps also filled up one of Zambia’s biggest stadiums in 2023.
