Political Drama Erupts In Miles Sampa‘s PF Faction, Which Saw 9 PF Members Of Parliament Get Suspended From The Party And Later Given Amnesty To Avoid Unnecessary By-Elections. The National Assembly Speaker Declared 9 PF Parliamentary Seats Vacant Despite Receiving Amnesty Letters From The PF President And SG Over The PF MPs.
However Faction PF President And Secretary General – Miles Sampa, Has Questioned Where Government And The Electoral Commission Of Zambia Will Source About $1o Million To Hold By-Elections, As The Country Is Currently Struggling Economically.
“So where will Boma & ECZ get over $10M for these avoidable 9 by elections they want to create?
The 9 PF MPs are going nowhere and even if the bullying continues to the by elections, the People vote power will bring all the 9 MPs back into Parliament”, Wrote Sampa Through A Facebook Post.
Sampa Said, Prior To The Ruling Made By The Speaker, The National Assembly Was Advised In Writing That The Party Had Resolved It’s Internal Matters And Gave The Suspended MPs Amnesty. Mr Sampa Wondered Why The Speaker Ignored Those Letters And Declared The Seats Vacant.
