U17 Copper Princesses Ditch Morocco For World Cup Spot!!

The Zambia U17 National Team have qualified to the 8th edition of the FIFA U-17 2024 Women’s World Cup after playing an away match against Morocco that ended 0-0. Zambia played their first leg match with a 3-1 win against Morocco which was enough to give the Carol Kanyemba coached side advantage. Bwalya Namute Chileshe scored a hat-trick in the first leg to guide Zambia to a 3-1 win, at the National Heroes Stadium.

The U17 Copper Princesses put up a solid defensive play leaving Morocco with no chance to score their ambitious comeback goals. Zambia only had a few attempts to score but couldn’t convert their chances.

The tournament will take place between 16th October and 3rd November, 2024 in the Dominican Republic.
