Red Arrows Through To The Semi Finals Of The CECAFA Inter-club Cub!!
Red Arrows have secured a spot in the semi-finals of the CECAFA Dar Port Kagame Interclub Cup after defeating Djibouti Telecom 1-0. Anthony Shipanuka‘s 21st-minute goal proved to be the decisive factor, earning him the Man of the Match award and a prize of Tsh 300,000 (approximately K2900).
The win marks a crucial turnaround for Red Arrows, who had suffered a 5-0 loss to Al-Hilal Omdurman in their previous match. The team showed significant improvement in their defensive performance, managing to hold onto their early lead and shut down Djibouti Telecom’s attacking efforts.
After winning all of their group games, Sudanese team Al Hilal finished first in Group B with nine points, placing the Red Arrows in second place with six points.
