Pastor Jimmy Kay Sued Over Fally Ipupa Concert Tickets

Pastor Jimmy Kumwenda, popularly known as Pastor Jimmy Kay and Kitwe businessman Isaac Ilunga, have been Sued by fellow businessman Enock Mashilipa, who is demanding a refund of US$20,000 and K10 million, which he claims represents his share of profits from the 2025 Fally Ipupa concerts.

According to court documents filed in the Lusaka High Court, Mashilipa claims he financed the concerts after Kumwenda approached him for urgent financial assistance.

He further claims to have invested more than US$30,000 towards the logistics of staging the concerts.

However, Mashilipa alleges that despite being among the financiers of the shows, he was forced to purchase tickets for himself, his wife, family and friends to attend the concert held at Ciela Resort.

He claims the situation reduced him from being a founder of the event to an ordinary attendee, which he says caused him embarrassment.

Mashilipa further alleges that Kumwenda removed him from a WhatsApp group and blocked all his mobile phone numbers after he sought accountability regarding the proceeds from the concerts.
