Mohamed Salah to leave Liverpool at the end of the season

Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool FC at the end of the 2025–26 season. The forward has agreed with the club to end his nine-year stay at Anfield. This will close a historic chapter in his career.

Salah chose to announce the news early. He did this out of respect for the fans. He also wanted to be transparent about his future.

He joined Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017. Since then, he has become one of the club’s greatest players. His impact has been huge.

During his time at the club, Salah helped Liverpool win many trophies. These include two Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League. He also won the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, two League Cups, and the FA Community Shield.

Salah has scored 255 goals in 435 appearances so far. This places him third on Liverpool’s all-time top scorers list. He has also won the Premier League Golden Boot four times. In addition, he has earned many individual awards.

For now, Salah remains focused on the current season. He wants to help Liverpool finish strongly. His full farewell and celebration will happen later in the year.
