Marriage, most beautiful journey, but can be messy” says Macky 2

IN celebrating 10 years marriage anniversary, award winning multi-talented artiste and music producer Mulaza Kaira, alias Macky 2, has some word of counsel.

Giving his perspective about marriage, which he has enjoyed with his sweetheart Haantinga, the artiste says marriage is not always “sunshine and roses”.

The hip-hop singer-cum politician, known for speaking his mind through art, says marriage can be “messy, hard, and humbling”.

“Marriage isn’t always sunshine and roses.. limo filapena..it’s messy, hard, and humbling”.

“But it’s also the most beautiful journey. choosing love even on the tough days, growing together when life pulls you apart, and finding joy in the ordinary moments that become extraordinary because you share them,” the So Much More singer, told his 1.5million followers in a message on his Facebook page.

The Kopala born and bred wished his wife and mother of his child a happy 10 years marriage anniversary and “80 many more years mwaiche!”.

“Happy Anniversary Mwaiche Haantinga Kaira Uli Wa Last.. Tuchilipamo.. still learning, still laughing, still choosing each other even in chaos. 80 More Years Mwaiche!” the Amaka Yakwa Lesa hit maker, who shares their wedding photos ,added.

Haantinga also reminisced the first time she reffered to ‘abapondo’ aka FlavaBoy or King Buga, as her husband, describing it as “the best thing I ever did”.

“It’s been 10 years since the first time I called this man my husband,I laughed so much when I said it but I couldn’t believe it because I was so young and I will say this was and is the best thing I ever did,” she wrote on her FB page.

In the spirit of open show of gratitude which some couples may take for granted but is necessary, Haantinga thanks the ‘You’re the so beautiful’ singer and love of her life, for his support over the years.
