Macky 2, who ran a strong campaign for the Nchanga seat, shared an emotional message with his supporters following the election outcome. He said that while he does not fully understand God’s timing, he continues to trust His plan.
“I really do not understand God’s timing right now, but I trust him completely,” Macky 2 wrote.
He described the result as possibly a delay or a different direction in his journey, while encouraging his supporters and campaign team not to lose heart.
Macky 2 thanked his team for their hard work and sacrifices throughout the campaign, including the early mornings, late nights and their continued belief in his vision.
He said the campaign was never only about winning a parliamentary seat, but about finding ways to serve and help develop the Nchanga community.
“Remember, our mission was never just about a title,” he said.
He added that there are many ways to contribute to the development of Nchanga, with or without a seat in Parliament.
Macky 2 also congratulated Rosemary Chipoya, describing her campaign as decent and respectful. He wished her well as she takes on the responsibility of serving the people of Nchanga.
He said that despite political differences, people ultimately share the same desire to see Nchanga develop, remain united and move forward.
Addressing the people of Nchanga, Macky 2 said the constituency remains close to his heart and promised to continue supporting the community despite the election result.
“To the people of Nchanga… Olo mwanchita ifi, ine you have my heart,” he wrote.
Macky 2 ended his message by urging his supporters to remain united and strong, stressing that the work of serving the people does not end with an election defeat.
