Khooliish – Vimba Ft. Tlhogii-De Prince

South African Amapiano groove sensation Khooliish joins forces with rising vocal talent Tlhogii-De Prince on an infectious, bass-heavy township anthem titled “Vimba.”

Khooliish has been making waves on the scene with his snappy percussive compositions, underground groove sensibilities, and obvious talent for building dancefloor momentum. Together, Team Tlhogii-De Prince and you have an instant aural chemistry. Dark, driving rhythms meet charismatic vocal interplay, tailor-made to burn up tavern sound systems, vehicle speakers, and late-night festival stages.

Behind the boards, the sound architects conjure up a deep mid-tempo atmosphere centered by hammering kick drums, crisp metallic percussion shakers, and sharp snare rolls. Speaker-rattling log drum sequences and a flowing, rolling sub-bassline pulse underneath ambient synthesizer chords and warm piano notes—the beat carries a weight of enormous low-end, yet without crowding the layout. At the same time, the expansive audio engineering leaves room to breathe all throughout the mix, allowing each cadence switch, amusing accent, and vocal chant to slam through the speakers with total clarity.
