Figo – Simba

Tanzanian recording act and vocal talent Figo steps into the sporting limelight with an energetic, stadium-ready praise anthem dubbed “Simba.”

The celebratory release comes at a time when Tanzanian football fans and Bongo Flava lovers are seeking the right anthems to rally and power matchday hype and stadium celebrations. This vibrant cut by Figo is dedicated to Simba Sports Club (Simba SC), channeling the pride, passion, and historic winning mentality of the Msimbazi giants. He’s been busy writing songs that capture the fiery terrace culture of East African football, as loyal supporters are always on the lookout for songs that do just that, in an attempt to deliver an energetic tribute that will unite fans and elevate the winning atmosphere.

Punchy mid-tempo soundscape the sound architect is constructing is underpinned by knocking kick drums, crisp percussive shakers, and bright brass and synth accents. A buoyant rolling bassline propels the rhythm, while an infectious bounce keeps the energy flowing and the arrangement uncluttered. Meanwhile, the clean sound engineering makes sure there is plenty of breathing room, letting each vocal chant, crowd-hyping phrase, and rhythmic accent cut through with crystal clarity.

It all gels nicely throughout this release to provide a fully realized listen that is very satisfying indeed. The vibrant, rhythm-driven production follows his vocal stamina step for step throughout the entire runtime.

Definitely add this vibrant football anthem to your matchday hype, workout & celebratory party playlists today! Stream “Simba” on your favorite digital music platforms NOW!
