South African Amapiano heavyweight and Simnandi Records boss DJ Jaivane teams up with vocal powerhouse Lady Du, underground groove trailblazer Ulazi, and versatile lyricist Springle on an explosive, rhythm-heavy township anthem titled “Malume” from his studio project Mended Pieces.

The star-studded collaboration arrives as lovers of electronic dance, club ravers, and Amapiano purists seek high-voltage township cuts that bridge hard-hitting log drum bounce with commanding street delivery. DJ Jaivane has long been an undeniable name in all of Mzansi’s dance arena for his exact arrangement skills and mastery of underground club energy, while Lady Du remains a revered name across the continent as a vocal authority. The raw percussive bounce of Ulazi and the charismatic delivery of Springle spark an immediate sonic combustion, creating an adrenaline-fueled anthem designed specifically to ignite tavern sound systems, car speakers, and late-night festival stages.

Translated from Zulu as “Uncle,” it’s also an affectionate township term of respect and party salute (“Malume”). The songwriting and vocal interplay largely focus on township nightlife, dancefloor freedom, asserting street authority, and partying hard with your day-one squad. Natural studio synergy and infectious party phrasing turn a heavyweight link-up into a certified club weapon for dance enthusiasts everywhere.
