Burna Boy’s Music Temporarily Banned After Night Club Altercation!!

The Nigerian DJ Association (NDJ) has announced a temporary ban on Burna Boy‘s music following an alleged physical altercation between the singer and DJ Tunez (WizKid’s DJ).

The altercation reportedly occurred at a nightclub in Lagos, specifically at “Obi’s House,” a well-known weekly Afrobeats event. Reports indicate that a disagreement escalated when Dj Tunez reportedly played several Wizkid tracks in a row while Burna Boy was present but refused or ignored requests to play Burna Boy’s music.

In solidarity with DJ Tunez, the NDJ instructed its members in Nigeria and abroad to stop playing Burna Boy’s songs until further notice. The NDJ cited a need to protect DJs from harassment and uphold professionalism within the industry.
