18 Year Old Teen Raped At Chungu Cemetery!!
Residents of Chunga In Lusaka woke up to an alarming incident of 18-year-old girl who had been left wounded, physically, emotionally and mentally after a trio raped and abused her at a near cemetery.
According to police reports, the incident occurred around 04:00 hours, when the girl who was sleeping with her family , went to an outside toilet when she noticed a parked vehicle.
One of the suspects approached her, requesting water to cool their vehicle engine. He then allegedly asked her to accompany him to the car to collect a container. Police allege that upon reaching the vehicle, two other men emerged and forced her inside. The victim was then taken to Chunga cemetery where she was raped and abused.
Left traumatised and helpless, she was later found by a passerby who alerted the police. The young woman was then rushed to Chunga Clinic for medical attention. Police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale, confirmed the incident and assured the public that a full investigation is underway to apprehend the suspects.
