UQhoshangokwenzakwakhe – Umenzi uyakhohlwa ft Luve Dubazane

South African singer-songwriter and thought leader Qhoshangokwenzakwakhe teams up with the pillar of the world, Luve Dubazane, for a song of deep meaning and rich cultural heritage, “Umenzi uyakhohlwa,” from his album, Tears of Joy.

UQhoshango sings this song with a voice that is very respectable, confident, and in control. He flows on the beat as easy as you please, and his Zulu lyrics are filled with true inspiration, which creates a reflective and thought-provoking atmosphere right from the first note of the song. U-Luve Dubazane ungena ngemuva kwalokhu ukuze akhombise ubuhle ngamazwi akhe amnandi nathinta inhliziyo, ukushintshana kwabo kuqinisa kakhulu umyalezo wokubekezela, ukubhekana neqiniso, kanye nokukhumbula ukuthi izenzo zomuntu zihlala zishiya umkhondo.

The lyrics of the song “The Perpetrator Forgets” have a lot to say about how the perpetrator often forgets easily the damage they have done, while the victim carries the scars of the heart. So these are Zulu proverbs that touch the heart and can be used to transform this title into an affirmative anthem, that which calls people to live in joy, that which likewise encourages the young and the old.
