Sthibo de Beat – Dont Touch My Afro (Album)

Sthibo de Beat releases Dont Touch My Afro. An EP based on contemporary African rhythms and electronic production. The rhythmic patterns driven by percussion and melodic aspects, voice passages, and layered arrangements create a unique rhythmic orientation for the project.

The EP sees Sthibo de Beat exploring various rhythmic patterns and production textures, alternating between frantic moments and more expansive passages. There are plenty of present-day electronic elements to the project, yet African musical influences are there, providing a rich blend of old-school rhythmic feel and current production.

Sthibo de Beat’s Dont Touch My Afro explores a variety of sounds and arrangements throughout the album, with a focus on rhythm, identity, and African-inspired musical expression.
