NSIKA BIYELA – Sisathandana

Sisathandana, the first song, is a strong start to Nsika Biyela’s five-track project, Ayifihleki. From the very beginning, this South African singer sets the tone and invites the listener on a meticulously selected musical trip that unfolds throughout the album.

The opening track of a short collection, Sisathandana has the unenviable task of establishing the project’s personality. Released in 2026, the song sets the tone and themes for the rest of Ayifihleki, a project-first approach that favors cohesiveness and narrative flow.

There are just five tunes to discover on Ayifihleki, and each one is vital, its importance underlined by the location of the opening number. NSIKA BIYELA’s work here is a planned, structured, condensed, and meaningful listening experience that epitomizes the South African release.
