DJ Tears PLK – Like Someone Else

DJ Tears PLK Drops Massive Single “Like Someone Else” on October 2023 South African Deep House Artist Touching Your Soul The Pioneer of the Kasi Deep Sound

This slow-burning effort comes just in time for electronic dance purists and deep house lovers alike seeking clean, groove-laden analog progressions that mix intricate sound design with great emotional depth. DJ Tears PLK has made a lasting impression on the Mzansi dance music landscape with his unique Kasi Deep aesthetics and careful rhythmic architecture. This album is supposed to be a complete sonic sanctuary, suited for solo headphone sessions, sunset lounges, and reflective late-night journeys.

The sound architect provides a wonderfully rich, slow-burning palette of warm electric piano notes, airy atmospheric synth pads, and snappy percussion shakers. A steady, calm, four-on-the-floor house kick rides atop a rolling, speaker-rattling sub-bassline, maintaining an easy head-nodding rhythm without crowding the arrangement. The exquisite sound engineering also gives the mix plenty of breathing space, so every delicate filter sweep, ambient resonance, and nuanced percussive strike breaks through with startling clarity.

DJ Tears PLK is led by all arrangements of mastery and seasoned studio elegance throughout the extended electronic adventure. Instead of rapid drops or quick tempo changes, he carefully builds tension through subtle rhythmic layering and intentional frequency shifts before dropping the listener into a hypnotic pocket. Right from the first few bars, his calm, restrained approach sets up a tremendously pleasant, serene environment on the dance floor.
