Mancinza – Uzenzile

South African vocalist and emotive performer Mancinza is back with an intriguing new Amapiano record named “Uzenzile.
The new song comes at a time when dancefloors are embracing darker, more meditative township grooves. Whereas many producers stick to fast-paced festival bangers, this young talent takes a more personal way. In this mid tempo joint he talks on the consequences of one’s own actions, dropping a powerful message in heavy beats.
Based on deep sub-bass and massive, rolling log drums, the producer creates a really rich, late-night ambiance. Soft synth pads and slight percussion clicks remain softly in the background, keeping the momentum steady and dark. The beat is still neat and expansive, tho, allowing the vocal delivery to completely dominate the song.
The record is fronted by Mancinza’s trademark raw delivery and enormous vocal presence. He handles the rhythmic bounce with perfect elegance, putting real emotion into his words as he tells his tale. He’s tight with his voice control all the way throughout, so his warning feels urgent and personal.
