Sqoop Larma – Temutuloga

Ugandan singer Sqoop Larma has released a new Afrobeats single, “Temutuloga,” and it has been a hit across East Africa since its release.

Sqoop Larma has been one of the more active Ugandan voices this year. He already has shown that he knows how to make songs that reach much beyond his local audience, with “Nebilungi Byogere” gaining some major TikTok popularity earlier this year. “Akadde” followed suit shortly thereafter, with no perceptible gaps between publications.

“Temutuloga” lives in that same cheerful, infectious domain where his best releases live. Since the song dropped, dance challenges and lyric tweaks have already been popping up all over social media — typically the most telling proof that a hook has landed the way it should. His Afrobeats delivery remains spontaneous and lively, never sounding rushed.

Few Ugandan musicians have been able to build such a consistent streaming presence in such a short space of time. But Sqoop Larma keeps making the case for his place in the discourse.
