Zed Music Pioneer, Chali Bravo Dies!!
Chali Mulalami also known as Chali Bravo sadly passed away after experiencing a short illness. According to a report by the Zambia Association Of Musicians, he passed on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, at the levy Mwanawasa General Hospital.
Chali Bravo was one of the pillars of Zambian music as he played a huge role in transforming the industry, he founded one of Zambia’s most recognized record studios – SlingBeats Entertainments. The studio produced iconic artists such as CQ, Crystal Shaun, K’millian, Tommy D, Mampi, Roberto, General Ozzy, Namanje, and many other artists. Chali was not only a record producer, but a songwriter and talent manager as well.
The Zambia Association Of Musicians Publicity Secretary and Spokesperson Edmond Mbanga Miti issued the announcement on behalf of the association, extending condolences to Mulalami’s family, friends, and the wider creative community.
