83-Year Old Grandma Narrates In Court How She Was Sexually Assaulted!!
In A Shocking Narrative, An 83-year Old Woman Testifies How She Was A Victim Of Forced Sex That Had Caused Her To Faint. The Older Woman Who Is A Resident Of Shiyala Village Of Shantumbu, Narrates To The Magistrates Court How Her Tenant, Maurice Chomba, Nearly Sent Her To Her Early Grave After He Forced Himself On Her.
According To The 83-year Old Woman, The Incident Happened Around 23 Hours When She Was Sleeping. She Added That The Accused Broke Into Her Bedroom And Turned Off The Lights Before He Used His Youthful Strength To Over Power Her And Force Her To Have Sex With Him.
“I used a wire to lock the door, but the intruder cut it and entered the house. The light was on at the time but he switched it off,” she said. “He raped me and I sustained cuts on my vagina and anus,” The Woman Said.
The 83-year Old Woman Said Chomba Had Penetrated Both Her Vagina And Anus During The Incident. Maurice Chomba Is Charged With Rape And Unnatural Offenses. She Added That Due To Chomba’s Sexual Strength, She Fainted And Felt Her Life Slowly Fading Away.
“I fainted, I was almost dead due to his sexual strength and energy. My grandson came to my rescue upon hearing me screaming, and crying for help,”.
In Her Preamble The 83-year Old Woman Said Lives With Her Grandchildren Who Are Rarely Home, As They Are Always Out Drinking.
“My grandson apprehended Maurice and asked him what he was doing in my house. He told my grandson not to reveal the incident to anyone on a condition that he would give him a K1,500 but he rejected the offer and told him it was not worth my life.”
The Woman Said She Was Rescued By Her Grandson Who Heard Her Call For Help Before Apprehending Maurice, Who Later Escaped.
“On the material day I went to watch football at my cousin’s place in Shantumbu within Shiyala village. When I returned home I heard my grandmother calling out names of our relatives I thought it’s her usual way until I got closer to the house and heard Chomba telling her to keep quiet,”The 24-year Old Grandson Narrated.
“I broke the window to her bedroom and lit the torch on my phone and saw him having sex with her. I rushed to the door and apprehended him and he bribed me with a K1, 500 but I refused and locked him up in the house he used to occupy so that I could call for help but he escaped.” He Concluded.
Chomba Was Later Caught At His Workplace And Taken To Chilenje Police Station.
